All Things Bright and Beautiful

Today I have more words than time, so I'll keep the words few and the pictures many.  I must come back and tell some of the stories that go with these pictures at some point.  But for now, this will have to do.

Yesterday was the tree decorating day for Christmas Forest, a fundraiser for the St. Peter Hospital Foundation.  These trees will be open for public display starting on Thanksgiving Day, then auctioned off at a big gala the following Tuesday night.

This year, our theme was "All Things Bright and Beautiful, All Creatures Great and Small".  Still some final tweaking to do today, but here is a sneak peek:



























Back today to all the finishing touches.  I'll add in another picture when it's all complete.

    What a beautiful tree - but even moreso the truthful sentiment at the bottom - good job -
    may it bring joy to others that view it and
    may the auction bring lots a 'mulla' in.

    Nice tree. Who were those nice people designing with you? Maybe you could use another bird at the bottom. Something with blue feet might be nice.
